Michalek Brothers Racing (MBR) is prepared for a big finish to their 2021 racing season, and it starts this Thursday at the NHRA’s most prestigious and longest-running event on tour: the Dodge SRT NHRA U.S. Nationals. Labor Day Weekend has become synonymous with drag racing’s biggest stage as NHRA competitors head to Indianapolis to begin their final push to decide class championships. For MBR, “The Big Go” marks an opportunity to continue building on the performance found at their most recent outing in Norwalk, Ohio.

“We are excited to wrap up our 2021 season with two big events in the next three weeks,” said Kyle. “This year has flown by and we plan to close out our season strong both on and off the track. We have enjoyed introducing NHRA fans to Fund That Flip and The Empowerment Alliance. Fund That Flip will be connecting with folks seeking hard money funding for their real estate projects, and lenders looking for unique real estate investments onsite in Nitro Alley at Indy and Charlotte. MBR will also be signing up fans to support American energy independence by joining The Empowerment Alliance, and the first 100 fans to sign up will receive a free MBR / Empowerment Alliance t-shirt!”

MBR will roll through the gates at historic Lucas Oil Raceway with added support from the team at NGK Spark Plugs. With a full line of spark plugs, coils, and wire sets, NGK covers 95% of import and domestic vehicles on the market. The team’s 270MPH A/fuel dragster also relies on consistent ignition performance in some of the most extreme conditions, and having all 16 plugs firing is crucial to running at the top of the pack.

Michalek Brothers Racing returns to the Indianapolis for the U.S. Nationals after qualifying 15th at the 2020 running of the “Big Go”.

“I can’t believe we’re already getting things loaded up to head to Indy,” said Corey. “This has been such a whirlwind of a year and these next three weeks will really define where we’re at as a team. I’m excited about the direction we’re going and the changes we have been making, but now it’s time to finish strong and build momentum for 2022. I can’t wait until the Fund That Flip hot rod is back on the track Thursday afternoon!”

MBR’s Fund That Flip / Empowerment Alliance entry will hit the track on Thursday for the team’s first two qualifying runs at 3:30PM and 7:00PM, followed by final qualifying at 3:00PM on Friday afternoon. The sixteen qualified cars will then battle it out for the most coveted Wally of the year with the first two rounds of eliminations on Saturday at 10:30AM and 3:00PM, and the final two rounds of eliminations on Sunday at 1:35PM and 3:45PM. Tickets for the event can be purchased HERE.
