Michalek Brothers Racing 2016 Midyear Status Update
Hi everyone, and thanks for checking in to see what’s happening at MBR! While the 2016 season has not yielded the amount of on-track action we had hoped for, we have continued to stay very busy away from the track by working to put all of the pieces and parts in place for our new Top Alcohol Dragster team. It is a very large undertaking starting up one of these teams from the ground up that requires massive amounts of time and money.
On that note, while we are diligently working to get our equipment ready to race, we are also working equally hard to bring in new partners to join our race team. We are firm believers in the opportunities to activate a solid marketing program through NHRA drag racing, and know we can deliver a solid return on investment for our partners. Working both fronts to prepare the car and secure funding has provided invaluable learning that will no doubt come in handy as we continue to build our race program.
Our plans for the remainder of this year are to continue pursuing partners for the 2017 season, to complete the reassembly of the car so we can get out to the track to test before the offseason, and to use the winter to gear up for a 2017 debut. We really appreciate the continued support offered by friends and fellow racers; it means a lot to us and it helps continue to fuel the fire we have to get back on track. We’ll continue to check in and provide updates as we make progress.
