Michalek Brothers Racing & Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ Champion® Brand Extend Partnership for Sixth Consecutive Year
Michalek Brothers Racing (MBR) and Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ Champion® brand will hit the track together in 2017 after agreeing to a contract extension for the sixth consecutive year of their mutually beneficial partnership. Since winning Champion’s inaugural “Search for A Champion” contest in 2012, MBR’s partnership with Champion has prospered and the team now competes on a national stage in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series.
Champion has helped power MBR from racing Super Comp dragsters all the way in to the Winner’s Circle in the NHRA’s Top Alcohol Dragster class.

Michalek Brothers Racing returns to the track in 2017 after sitting out the 2016 season to prepare their recently purchased A/fuel dragster for competition in the NHRA’s highly competitive Top Alcohol Dragster class. MBR will once again rely on Champion spark plugs to fire up its 4,500 horsepower, nitro-injected, hemi powerplant as the team competes across the country.
